Participants at the June 2017 iiE “Wonder Together” Gathering were asked to bring something that represented themselves, or something they were wondering about. In small groups, they used those things, plus some provided materials, to make pages of a collaborative, multi-authored, multilayered book. We called this book a “synchronous palimpsest” because it contained layers of writing and symbols (a palimpsest) created (unlike most palimpsests) at the same time.
